Parents Forum

Come along to our Parents Forum and meet other parents/carers of ADDUP and have an opportunity to help shape the future of ADDUP.

After School Club

The After School Club will include Life Skills such as: meal planning and budgeting, making a bed, preparing their school bag, being responsible and building good peer relationships along with other ideas the children come up with. It will also include health & fitness, games, peer group discussions

Drama Project

The Monster Inside

This programme is for the parents/carers, the ADHD child and their siblings and will run for three weeks for two hours each week.

We are only be able to accommodate 7 families on this course and these places will be allocated on a “first come first served” basis with members receiving priority.

In the unlikely event that the course does not fully book within minutes of the booking form going live, the booking deadlines for each course are as below

The deadline for booking places on the May Course is 12pm Friday 5th April 2024, with confirmations being sent from Monday 8th April 2024.
The deadline for booking places on the June Course is 12pm Friday 17th May 2024, with confirmations being sent from Monday 20th May 2024.
The deadline for booking places on the July Course is 12pm Friday 14th June 2024, with confirmations being sent from Monday 17th June 2024.
The deadline for booking places on the September Course is 12pm Friday 23rd August 2024, with confirmations being sent from Tuesday 27th August 2024.
The deadline for booking places on the November Course is 12pm Friday 25th October 2024, with confirmations being sent from Monday 28th October 2024.

The parent/carers workshops will explore the issues related to living with a child with ADHD, taking back control, family values and problem solving.
The children’s workshops will follow the same themes as the adult but will be child focused and will include: social skills, making informed choices, peer relationships, social media and understanding and learning to manage their ADHD “Monster”.

To achieve the best results you and your child/children must attend all the workshops.

Summer Project

A programme of art and craft activities along with Life Skills, Health & Wellbeing, Drama, fun and games.

The final day of the project (Friday 23rd August) will see the children putting on a Summer Fete in the garden of Fairkytes Art Centre. This is their contribution towards helping raise the funds needed to continue providing activities for them to enjoy. Due to this, the usual End of Project Presentation, where the children’s achievements are recognised and they get the opportunity to show off the work they have done throughout the project, will be brought forward to Thursday 22nd August.

You can book your child/children into as many sessions as you would like however places will be limited and, if oversubscribed, places will be allocated.

If you would like places for your child/children, please complete the application form (link below) by 12pm Friday 19th July, any received after this date will only be considered if places are available. You will receive an email confirming your child/children’s places from Monday 22nd July.
