There is no drama session on Saturday 18th February (Half Term week)


Half Term Project

This project is open to all of our young members (including siblings) and will be based around arts & crafts

Booking forms need to be returned to the office by no later than Friday 27th January 2012. If you have not received your booking pack please contact the office immediately.

As there will only be 25 places available per day it is very likely that this project will be heavily over subscribed. In this case places will be allocated with members being given priority. Families with more than one child wishing to participate can be assured that their children will be allocated the same days.

Parents will receive confirmation of the dates allocated to their child/children week commencing 30th January


Parenting Skills Workshop Course

Due to the success of previous Parenting Skills Workshops with Lorrine Marer, a Behavioural Specialist and ADHD Coach, and with funding from the Youth Inclusion Support Panel (YISP), we are pleased to announce another workshop course.
Parents who participated in earlier courses found the programme very helpful. Comments from the questionnaires we asked parents to complete consisted of:


This course is open to all Add+up parents and carers whose name appears on the membership form. During the course we may be inviting along professionals, which would enable us to seek more funding to continue this work.

Add+Up Conference and Training Day

Join us for our Add+up Conference & Training Event, where we will be hosting helpful workshops dealing with some of the important issues affecting families and individuals living and working with ADHD.

Refeshments, lunch & information packs will be provided.

Our three workshops are based around the following themes:
Diagnosis & Medication, Education, Management & Strategies.

Our guest speakers are experts in these areas and will provide
valuable insights, guidance and information.

Dr Padamsee MB, BS, DPM, MD, MRCPsych, FRCPsych  - Consultant Psychiatrist, specialising  in child and adolescent psychiatry.

Dr K Puvanendran, FRCP, FRCPCH, DCH - Consultant Paediatrician and ADHD specialist

Fintan O’Regan - Fintan has a well established reputation as a national and international lecturer in ADHD and related learning difficulties and has been both a teacher and a headmaster in public and independent schools for over 16 years.

Lorrine Marer - A Behavioural Specialist, known for her ‘Teen Tamer’ TV programme, Lorrine specialises in strategies to deal with challenging behaviour and aggressive conduct disorders. Lorrine has had huge success in breaking well-established patterns of inappropriate behaviour and getting to the root of complex family problems.

Christmas Parties

Bowling for 9yrs and over

The children will have one session of evening bowling followed by a buffet meal.
This is only for the children who have booked for the session.

Party for 8yrs and under

An entertainer will be booked to amuse the children and a small buffet with drinks will be available.
This is for the children booked for the party only.
