Parent Support Network Meetings

Our regular sessions are an opportunity to meet other parents and carers of ADHD children and young people, to get and give support and make new friends, all while enjoying a cuppa and a few biscuits.

Social & Communication Skills Project

This project is for children and young people who are struggling to understand how their ADHD hinders them developing skills to read social cues and signs and to respect others feelings. The project will aim to teach children new skills, to know when it is appropriate to say or do something without offending and to develop good meaningful peer relationships.

The Monster Inside

This programme is for the parents/carers, the ADHD child and their siblings and will run for five weeks for two hours each week, details as follows:

The parent/carers workshops will explore the issues related to living with a child with ADHD, taking back control, family values and problem solving.

The children’s workshops will follow the same themes as the adult but will be child focused and will include: social skills, making informed choices, peer relationships, social media and understanding and learning to manage their ADHD “Monster”.

To achieve the best results you and your child/children must attend all the workshops.

Booking packs were posted 1st October.
The deadline for booking places is 12pm Friday 19th October with confirmations being sent week commencing Monday 22nd October 2018.
